It is in garage and outside temp is around 100 degrees.

Upright freezer freezer alarm alarm reset pad. Our upright frigidaire freezer is displaying hi temp of 27 degrees. My upright frigidaire freezer has the hi temp light on i lost power about a week ago and now my freezer hi temp light is on. If the freezer compartment is actually at 0 degrees when the high temperature alarm sounds a failed thermistor or bad electronic control board likely caused the alarm by inaccurately detecting freezer temperature.

The freezer is plugged in and running. The power loss light goes on and off intermitenly. I put a temp gage in the freezer last night to see what the inside temp was and it is holding at 29 degrees i can hear the freezer running so that was a good sign. I have flipped the breaker switch to try and reset it.

Tried to contact warranty but no one is answering read more. Water on the coils may be due to high usage or high humidity. What can i do to get temperature down. Newer freezer models have greater storage capacity and a broader temperature range both of which require a high speed compressor.

If the frigidaire upright freezer is leaking water then you may need to check the evaporator coils. Currently the bottom green light is flashing and temp is high items are defrosting.
